Below are helpful answers to some of the most frequently asked questions we get from our prospective customers.

Q: What services do you provide?

A: Interior and Exterior painting; Residential, Commercial and Industrial Painting; Wall Covering Removal and Installations; Power Washing; Epoxy Coatings; Specialty Finishes.

Q: Are your workers sub-contactors?

A: No, all of our painters work only for us.

Q: Do you accept credit cards?

A: Yes, we accept most major credit cards.

Q: Are you licensed as a home improvement contractor with the State of NJ?

A: Yes. Our license number is # 13VH00272400.

Q: Can I get an estimate over the phone or via email?

A: No, We do not give estimates over the phone. There are too many variables to simply give an accurate quote. Steve will meet you in person, ask you specific questions to gain a full understanding of your painting and wall covering needs, and then provide you with a written detailed proposal including our detailed preparation and painting procedure for a typical home. We provide each homeowner we meet with our written proposal and this allows them to easily understand the cost of painting, staining, power washing or wall covering for their home, and to compare our proposal with another proposal.

Q: Are you Insured?

A: Yes. A painting contractor is required to maintain statutory Worker’s Compensation insurance. The painting contractor must carry at least $500,000 Liability insurance per incident in order to be registered with New Jersey. If the painting contractor utilizes sub-contractors – they all must also meet the same insurance requirements.

Q: How do I get an estimate?

A: Simply call us at (201) 666-0309 and we will schedule you in, usually on a Tuesday or Thursday of that same week.

Q: How long does it take to get an estimate?

A: Once we meet with you, your estimate will be ready the following day.

Q: Do I need to be home when you’re working?

A: Not all the time, but we do ask that you be available each day (either on site or via phone) so we can provide you with our daily update of progress, and answer any questions you have.

Q: How long does it take to finish the job?

A: Each project is different. We give you approximate start and finish dates in our proposal. Once we start your project, we stay on it each day until we are finished unless there are circumstances beyond our control, like weather, that don’t permit us to work.

Q: Where will you clean up?

A: We clean all our tools and equipment daily in our shop.

Q: Who purchases the paint?

A: We buy all the paint materials needed for the project, as stated in our proposals.

Q: Do you offer Green Products?

A: Yes. We offer multiple products that meet or exceed VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds) regulations for low VOC and odor.
